Company Description

Redzone helps manufacturers make more product for less while greatly improving the employee experience. While there is a lot of hype around digital transformation, the factory of the future, and Industry 4.0, the focus has been on the equipment and technology – not the people. At Redzone, we are all about the people, what we call “the connected worker.” We make frontline teams more engaged and more productive so their lives improve while contributing to positive business outcomes. We do this by combining exceptional software and world-class coaching, giving our customers an average productivity increase of 22% in 90 days. Redzone brings together Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams, improving the communications between those teams to resolve issues and increase output. Decision-making happens on the shop floor by the people doing the work, in real time, for immediate impact and a better overall employee experience.

With over 1000 customers, 1400 plants and 325,000 users, Redzone is changing the way people work – one plant at a time.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated scheduling expert to focus on enhancing and owning the scheduling module within Redzone's core application and web admin. This role is crucial for our customers who use Redzone to optimize their schedule, increase output, while greatly improving the employee experience. If you have experience planning and scheduling at a plant, have ever thought to yourself, “there has to be a more efficient way to get this done”, and are passionate about being the solution to this problem, this role is for you.

This role is part of our Product team, responsible for delivering tangible value to customers by optimizing how production schedules are created, communicated, and executed. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Design, Coaching, Marketing, Sales, and Support teams, as well as directly with customers to identify needs, validate solutions, and bring thoughtful, high-impact features to life.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong product mindset and deep empathy for factory scheduler and shop floor users. Ideally, this candidate has demonstrated experience delivering enterprise SaaS solutions that address complex manufacturing planning workflows.

This position is full-time, exempt, remote, based in the United States, and requires travel up to 25% of the time. No Visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand customer needs related to production planning, sequencing, and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must translate firsthand experience of scheduling pain points (e.g., difficulties in rapid schedule updates, impact of sub-optimal sequences on changeover time, operator communication) into clear product requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define, design, and ship valuable features in our Redzone application and web admin.
  • Support Redzone's product strategy cadence with feature enhancements tailored to complex planning workflows like optimized batch sequencing and managing resource constraints.
  • Prioritise and define enhancements that improve schedule adherence, reduce changeover complexity, and empower shop floor decision-making with real-time schedule adjustments.
  • Translate needs into user stories, product requirements, and wireframes.
  • Conduct feature validation through testing and real-time user feedback.
  • Align internal stakeholders across Coaching, Sales, Support, and Marketing.
  • Contribute to iterative design and retrospectives with Engineering and Design teams.

  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience working in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Strong product management fundamentals.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills, able to distil complex scheduling and operational requirements.
  • Ability to define goals, success metrics (e.g., Schedule Attainment, OTIF), and value impact for new features.
  • Self-starter with a strong bias for action and high attention to detail, proactive attitude, and strong organizational skills.

Desired Skills

  • Experience using the Redzone product.
