Fira Health builds AI-native infrastructure to automate the administrative backbone of healthcare. We’re starting with home health, helping agencies reduce overhead, accelerate payments, and focus more on care—not paperwork. Our agentic AI platform integrates directly into providers’ operations, automating complex workflows like insurance verification, prior authorization, and billing.
Fira is backed by top-tier investors and built by a team with deep expertise across healthcare operations, applied AI, and complex workflow automation.
We’re hiring a high-agency Technical Product Manager to drive product strategy and execution across our AI automation platform. You’ll collaborate with our Engineering, Operations, and Special Projects teams to design scalable, agentic workflows that connect human expertise with AI capabilities.
A successful Technical Product Manager at Fira is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating technical complexity, operational nuance, and strategic trade-offs. You’ll have significant ownership and the chance to shape both the product and company strategy.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll dive deep into the healthcare workflows that you’ll help automate, working closely with our operations and clinical teams to map processes, identify bottlenecks, and design AI-driven solutions.
Over time, you’ll evolve into a platform product owner with end-to-end responsibility for one or more domains.
Domain Expertise: Own the full product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap prioritization to deployment and iteration.
Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Clinical, and Special Projects teams to map workflows, surface bottlenecks, and design end-to-end solutions.
Technical Requirements Management: Break down complex enterprise requirements and operational problems into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, collaborating closely with Engineering to manage development cycles and deliver high-impact product releases.
Strategic Execution: Serve as the key liaison between technical and non-technical teams, clearly communicating product priorities, trade-offs, and outcomes to ensure alignment across stakeholders. Define and analyze key metrics (e.g., throughput, accuracy) to quantify impact, drive continuous improvement, and guide prioritization.
Domain Expertise: 4–7 years of experience in product management, ideally with workflow automation, healthcare technology, or other complex operational systems.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to engage in discussions on system architecture, APIs, and AI/ML integration, understanding constraints such as latency, throughput, and reliability.
Product Vision & Execution: Proven track record of defining product vision and translating complex, cross-functional requirements into clear, actionable plans.
Analytical & Systems Thinking: Strong analytical skills; comfortable using data (SQL, spreadsheets, analytical tools) to drive prioritization and measure impact.
Adaptability & Ownership: Thrives in high-growth, fast-changing environments; able to take ownership amid ambiguity and drive clarity through structured thinking and execution.
Communication Excellence: Ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders, write comprehensive requirements documentation, and present complex concepts clearly.
