The Opportunity:
Apptega continues to expand on our innovative suite of Security, Compliance, and Risk Management offerings that enable Security and Compliance Service Providers to deliver differentiated offerings. Our Security and Risk offerings represent one of our most strategic areas of growth and we are seeking an experienced, passionate, and customer-focused Product Manager that can build and drive our roadmap on this front. Ideal candidates will have a Security product background across domains such as SIEM/SOAR, Cloud, User, Behavior, and/or Security Operations (SOC) and have worked for MDR/MSSP OR built software solutions for them.

Responsibilities:
You own the Security offering and Service Provider experience to help drive our growth through this strategic channel. Along with other Product leaders, you will drive our Risk strategy. Being a team leader across the business and keeping score by KPIs is part of the training. Build out the Security, Service Provider, and Risk strategy that aligns to Apptegaโs multi-year vision and focus on our globally expanding Service Provider base. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support to ensure our offerings are world-class. You will manage product vision through execution with engineering to deliver highly competitive and differentiated products.
Your responsibilities will include:
โ Defining the roadmap based on market data, voice of customer/partner, routes to market, to drive adoption and growth through our IPP
โ Ability to map out strategy through execution by building a roadmap that has alignment with clearly outlined milestones that directly connect to customer value
โ Own, prioritize, and maintain the development teamโs product backlog, including definition of epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
โ Own Voice of Customer โ be an expert in the customer (Service Provider and end customer) experience that drives requirements and service definitions to meet our customers where they need to be met
โ Contribute to Pricing, Packaging, and Licensing to fuel growth, drive incremental value, and adoption
โ Work with Product Marketing and Sales Operations to drive highly powerful enablement maximizing our impact to the market (and what you built)
โ Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and other functional teams to ensure alignment
โ Perform product demos to internal stakeholders and customers
โ Develop and manage a set of Metrics and KPIs that measures success and where to continue to invest
โ Lead discussions cross-functionally to drive synergies across the organizations.
โ Maintain a deep understanding of the MDR/MSSP space, understanding how they deliver value, and how our offerings help them differentiate and grow.
โ Own competitive analysis to ensure significant market differentiators.
Qualifications:
โ The successful candidate must have strong technology experience and be comfortable with authoring strong, differentiating requirements.
โ Strong Security domain experience across areas such as SIEM/SOAR/Cloud Security/User & Behavioral Detection, Managed Detection and Response (MDR) or equivalent.
โ Ability to be forward-looking on trends/direction
โ S/he will have 7+ yearsโ success with managing a product or service
โ Experience in SaaS, Security, or a combination thereof
โ Experience in Network, Host, and Cloud Technologies
โ Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to both capture customer use cases and influence others internally and externally
โ Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
โ Able to determine viability of new products or services; Understands cross-functional requirements; Capable of writing and presenting a new product proposal.
โ Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements
โ Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion
โ Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
โ Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions.
Education:
โ An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business is highly preferred
