Within the Tech Platforms team, Mozilla Common Voice is the flagship intervention to mitigate bias within AI - in particular by making it possible for speakers of the world’s 7000+ languages, and traditionally marginalized demographic communities, to be represented in AI training sets, and meaningfully engaged in building AI.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mozilla Common Voice is a data crowdsourcing platform that supports 300+ communities around the world, and to which more than half a million people have contributed. The dataset is used by these communities, and also in technology and research organizations all over the world.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Common Voice work spans product development, platform engineering, data stewardship, privacy and compliance, and community engagement. The team collaborates closely with contributors, researchers, and partners across regions and languages to ensure the platform remains trustworthy, inclusive, and sustainable while supporting long-term impact and future growth.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Product Director, Common Voice is responsible for the overall success of the Common Voice project. the team and community are global and distributed.
