In this role, you will lead the design vision and execution for a global online shopping platform, shaping cohesive, user-centric experiences across web, mobile, extensions, and brand touchpoints. You will manage and mentor a talented design team, partnering with product, engineering, marketing, and research to deliver innovative and engaging solutions that delight millions of users. With a strong focus on collaboration, accessibility, and measurable impact, you will drive consistency across the customer journey while fostering a culture of experimentation, data-informed decision-making, and high standards of craft. Accountabilities:

  • Define the design strategy and oversee execution across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and user needs.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of product and brand designers, fostering a strong culture of creativity and collaboration.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to shape and prioritize user-centric design initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Guide the creation of elegant, intuitive, and accessible experiences across the entire customer journey, from discovery to post-purchase.
  • Champion the evolution of the design system to improve quality, scalability, and delivery speed across teams.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of professional design experience, with at least 3+ years managing and mentoring designers.
  • Deep expertise across product design, interaction design, and visual design disciplines.
  • Proven track record of leading design efforts across web, mobile, and social platforms.
  • Strong systems thinker with experience scaling design processes without sacrificing creativity.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma and related platforms) as well as user research/testing methodologies.
  • Commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and user-first design.
  • Preferred: experience in e-commerce, rewards, personalization, or CRM platforms.
