This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Procurement Senior Manager in the United States.

This role is a high-impact, single-owner procurement leadership position responsible for managing the full vendor lifecycle within a fast-scaling healthcare technology environment. You will oversee a substantial SaaS and services vendor portfolio, driving commercial strategy, negotiations, renewals, and cost optimization across categories such as cloud infrastructure, software, security, and professional services. The position operates at the intersection of finance, legal, IT, and business leadership, ensuring procurement decisions are efficient, compliant, and strategically aligned. You will own procurement operations end-to-end, from intake and contracting to renewal strategy and spend governance. The environment is fast-paced, data-driven, and highly autonomous, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ownership, complexity, and driving measurable business value through procurement.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the full procurement lifecycle, including intake, vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, compliance review, and contract repository management
  • Manage daily procurement workflows in systems such as Coupa, ensuring timely approvals across legal, security, and finance stakeholders
  • Maintain and govern the contract repository (e.g., Productiv), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and up-to-date vendor metadata
  • Lead proactive renewal management, ensuring all contracts are evaluated and strategically renewed, renegotiated, or exited in advance
  • Drive vendor negotiations across SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, and professional services contracts, focusing on cost optimization and favorable commercial terms
  • Partner with Legal and Finance to finalize agreements while independently leading commercial negotiations prior to formal review stages
  • Manage vendor relationships throughout lifecycle stages, escalating risks and opportunities to leadership as needed
  • Deliver spend analysis, reporting, and insights to Finance and leadership, including savings tracking and consolidation opportunities
  • Identify process inefficiencies and lead improvements through automation, AI adoption, and workflow optimization

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of procurement experience within a SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment
  • Proven experience independently leading and closing complex vendor negotiations across SaaS, cloud, and services contracts
  • Strong understanding of procurement workflows, including legal, security, and finance approval processes
  • Experience using procurement or spend management tools such as Coupa and/or Productiv
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings, vendor consolidation, and contract optimization initiatives
  • Strong business communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly present procurement strategies
  • Ability to work independently in a lean, high-ownership environment with minimal oversight
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend data and provide actionable insights
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools for procurement optimization is a strong plus
  • Experience in healthcare, regulated environments, or PE-backed organizations is an advantage

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation ranging from $159,000 to $182,000 depending on experience and location
  • Eligibility for variable pay and performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage and wellness-focused benefits
  • Remote-friendly work environment with flexibility
  • Retirement savings plan and financial wellbeing support
  • Mental health resources and employee assistance programs
  • Wellness, fitness, and productivity perks (including digital fitness access and home office support discounts)
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Professional development opportunities in a high-growth, technology-driven environment
  • Additional regional perks such as childcare or education subsidies depending on location
