Join an innovative and dynamic construction company as a Permanent Procurement and Contracts Manager! This is a remote opportunity for a bilingual Mandarin speaker to play a crucial role in managing and streamlining our procurement processes. We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a background in logistics, international shipping, supply chain, ERP, CRM, and a Bachelor's degree. You will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing to delivery, and ensuring all operations are compliant with company policies and international trade regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of procurement, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the quality of goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and ensure they are met.
- Manage and oversee international shipping and logistics, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Utilize ERP and CRM systems to streamline procurement processes and improve data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement and contract management activities to senior management.
- Stay abreast of market trends, potential suppliers, and new opportunities to improve procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, international shipping, supply chain, ERP, and CRM.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies and manage complex contracts.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with procurement software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of cost reduction and efficiency improvement through effective procurement management.
