Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have high technical acumen, be self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, and handle multiple work assignments and projects.</h4><h4>Position Requirements: </h4><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Managers: 10-15+ years’ experience required; ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Engineers / Consultants: 5-10+ years’ experience; self-motivated, independent, organized, able work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development. </li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">All Roles:</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">BS/MS in related engineering field (chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety) or associated science degree.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Relevant experience in process safety management, health, safety and environment (HSE), related experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.</li></ul><h4>What’s Preferred</h4><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ideal candidates will be “Seller Doers” with existing client connections and an ability to generate new business. </li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programs</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience developing and evaluating/auditing PSM management systems and advising management at all levels of the organization to effect positive change to operational excellence.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience and expertise in PSM Technical Services such as:<ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Process hazard analyses (PHA), and risk assessments, or related studies, such as HAZID, What-If, HAZOP, FMEA, and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Quantitative Risk Assessment including QRA studies, fault tree/event tree analysis, facility siting studies, fire hazard, explosion, and toxic modeling </li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Safety Instrumented Systems services such as:<ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Safety integrity level (SIL) assessment, safety integrity level (SIL) assessment based on recognized knowledge of IEC61511 and related standards </li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience and expertise in dust hazard management services such as:<ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Evaluating processes for dust hazard fire and explosion risks (DHA)</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Auditing for dust hazard management </li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience and expertise in reactive chemistry hazard management</li></ul><div class="content-conclusion">Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are core values at AcuTech, and we are passionate about building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable working environment for all.
