This senior role offers the opportunity to shape the user experience for critical fulfillment products and services within a fast-growing digital marketplace. You will lead UX strategy and design across a portfolio impacting diverse stakeholders, including buyers, sellers, and internal operations teams. By collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams, you will deliver customer-centered solutions that drive measurable impact. This position demands both visionary design leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring that user experience is seamlessly integrated into workflows, tools, and processes. You will influence design standards, set best practices, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and operational excellence. Your work will directly affect customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall fulfillment experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the UX design roadmap for fulfillment products, making final design decisions and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Advocate for user needs and translate customer insights into actionable design solutions across web, mobile, and service platforms.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to prototype, deliver, and evaluate designs considering technical feasibility and business constraints.
  • Integrate user experiences with internal systems, workflows, and third-party vendor tools.
  • Conduct usability testing, gather qualitative and quantitative feedback, and iterate designs to optimize the customer experience.
  • Set standards for design excellence, process documentation, and cross-team collaboration within the UX function.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional growth and design consistency.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of UX design experience, including leadership on shipping, logistics, or marketplace-related fulfillment experiences.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering end-to-end user experiences, from strategy through launch and scaling, with measurable impact.
  • Expertise in UX methodologies, tools (e.g., Figma), and integrating AI into design workflows.
  • Experience conducting user research, lean usability testing, and leveraging analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Qualtrics, Google Analytics).
  • Strong collaboration skills to communicate design vision to engineers, product managers, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to align design strategy with business goals while maintaining a focus on customer needs.
  • Preferred: experience in hobby, gaming, or collectibles communities; familiarity with shipping, logistics, and fulfillment operations.
  • Formal education or certifications in UX Design, HCI, or related fields are desirable.
