We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Principal UX Designer to join our dynamic product team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to translate user insights and business requirements into elegant, engaging, and intuitive user interfaces. This role requires both a strategic thinker and a hands-on designer who is comfortable with every stage of the design process, from ideation to execution.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to uncover insights and identify pain points.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into detailed and user-centered design solutions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes that clearly illustrate functionality, user flow, and interface.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive design environment.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design.

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in web and/or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Proven experience with user research methods and usability testing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user-centered design.
- A collaborative mindset, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in mobile and desktop application design.
- Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to better collaborate with developers.
- Experience mentoring or leading other designers.

Salary Range:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $175,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
