This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager in United States.

In this role, you will lead the execution of highly complex, cross-functional engineering initiatives that directly shape platform scalability, reliability, and business impact. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and data science, bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous, system-level challenges. Your work will focus on driving alignment across multiple teams while ensuring delivery of high-value technical programs at scale. You will influence how large initiatives are planned, prioritized, and executed across the organization. This is a high-impact role where you will proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and ensure measurable outcomes. You will also contribute to improving engineering velocity, operational excellence, and machine learning-driven capabilities in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.

Accountabilities:

You will own end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring alignment between engineering execution and business objectives while driving measurable outcomes across multiple teams and systems.

  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch, defining scope, milestones, success metrics, and execution strategy.
  • Bring structure to ambiguity by clarifying goals, aligning stakeholders, and translating high-level product and technical designs into actionable delivery plans.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and dependencies proactively to ensure predictable and high-quality execution.
  • Partner closely with engineering and product leadership to balance short-term delivery with long-term system scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Establish and maintain clear visibility into program health, progress, and risks for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Drive decision-making by surfacing trade-offs, aligning priorities, and ensuring execution momentum across distributed teams.
  • Contribute to improving organizational execution through better planning, tooling, automation, and operational practices.

Requirements:

You bring extensive experience leading technical programs in complex engineering environments, with strong technical fluency and exceptional stakeholder management skills.

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or related roles in software engineering environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional programs across distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
  • Strong technical foundation with experience in system design, APIs, data flows, and scalable architectures.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, driving clarity, structure, and execution discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, prioritization skills, and ability to navigate complex technical and business trade-offs.
  • Experience improving engineering velocity through process optimization, tooling, or automation initiatives.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation including base salary within the range of $187,900 – $260,000 USD (depending on location and experience).
  • Performance-based bonuses and equity compensation opportunities.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with generous company matching contributions.
  • Paid time off, holidays, sick leave, and paid parental leave.
  • Employee wellness, mental health, and financial wellbeing support programs.
  • Annual allowances to support productivity tools, wellness, and personal development.
  • Flexible remote-first work model with periodic in-person collaboration sessions.
  • Additional benefits including insurance coverage options, family support resources, and employee assistance programs.
