This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical in United States.

This role provides the opportunity to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of a critical domain within a next-generation AI-powered platform. As the Principal Product Manager - Technical, you will operate as the single-threaded owner, collaborating closely with engineering, AI/ML, design, and research teams to deliver a scalable, intelligent product experience. You will define technical architecture, data models, and platform interfaces while integrating advanced capabilities like semantic search and LLM-powered assistants. The role involves shaping the product vision, mentoring others, and driving measurable outcomes in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. This position offers the chance to influence platform strategy from zero-to-one, establish best practices, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams. You will engage directly with stakeholders to validate requirements, iterate toward product-market fit, and set metrics that guide continuous learning and optimization.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a foundational platform capability.
  • Design technical architecture, data models, and platform interfaces that enable scalable, intelligent product experiences.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build APIs, system components, and observability layers that support extensibility and reuse.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities such as semantic search, personalization, LLM-powered assistants, and classification systems.
  • Write technical narratives, PRFAQs, and documentation to align leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders including CIOs, analysts, and vendor partners to validate requirements and iterate toward product-market fit.
  • Define success metrics, build telemetry strategies, and use experimentation to inform product decisions.
  • Mentor peers and elevate product and technical standards across the organization.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years in a technical or platform-focused role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proven track record of shipping zero-to-two products or scaling platform capabilities in ambiguous, high-accountability environments.
  • Deep technical fluency to shape architecture, API design, and system trade-offs with engineering teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence VP- and SVP-level stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, data science, design, and research.
  • Strong business and customer orientation, driving adoption, engagement, and measurable outcomes.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI/ML-powered products, search or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), entity extraction, digital fulfillment systems, knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, enterprise SaaS, or B2B intelligence solutions.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and influence outcomes in a matrixed organization.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with total annual compensation between $150,000–$186,000, including variable pay.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Paid vacation (15 days prorated), 12 company holidays, 6 sick days, and 2 floating holidays.
  • 1 volunteer day annually.
  • 401(k) with company match (3% on the first 6% of employee contributions).
  • Company-paid short-term disability and parental leave.
  • Remote work flexibility with support for professional growth and career development.
