This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development of a next-generation, intelligent maintenance and asset management platform for physical operations. As Principal Product Manager, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a critical product line, partnering closely with customers, engineering, and cross-functional teams. You will spend time on-site with users to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and operational challenges, translating those insights into actionable product decisions. This role requires balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact while delivering innovative, high-quality solutions. You will also influence adoption, support sales initiatives, and shape go-to-market strategies for a product designed to transform how fleets and equipment are maintained. The position combines hands-on field research, strategic leadership, and the execution of a full product lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
Accountabilities:- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Maintenance product line, setting priorities and success criteria for feature development.
- Conduct deep customer engagement with fleet managers, maintenance directors, and technicians to gather insights and validate product concepts.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery through design, development, launch, and iteration, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Partner with Engineering and Design teams to define system architecture, APIs, workflows, and user experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to drive product adoption, support strategic deals, and develop GTM strategies.
- Utilize AI and data-driven tools to accelerate research, prototyping, and product decisions.
- Serve as a role model for product leadership, embedding cultural principles such as customer focus, growth mindset, inclusivity, and team success.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software product management, with proven success building new products or business lines from early stages.
- Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams on architecture, data models, and APIs.
- Track record of deep customer engagement, translating insights into actionable product decisions.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate product work, research, and prototyping.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting to enterprise customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to set product vision, define roadmaps, and deliver measurable business outcomes on tight timelines.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving clarity, and working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field preferred; experience in B2B enterprise products is a plus.
