As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of global cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. You will collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams to drive automation, enhance developer experience, and maintain compliance standards. - Accountabilities
- Design and implement scalable, highly available global cloud architectures that meet business requirements.
- Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications and infrastructure.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, containerization using Docker, and infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Ensure compliance, security, and observability in cloud environments, integrating industry standards and audit requirements.
- Collaborate across teams to identify DevOps needs and deliver solutions that improve developer experience and release velocity.
- Mentor and coach team members on DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging DevOps technologies to drive innovation.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields, including at least 5 years in a senior architecture role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), container orchestration, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in global cloud environments (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience managing complex projects across stakeholders.
- Proven ability to design scalable, distributed architectures and optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
