Pricing Consultant - P&C Insurance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pricing Consultant - P&C Insurance based in United States.

This role focuses on shaping and optimizing pricing strategies within the Property & Casualty insurance space, with a strong emphasis on performance, profitability, and analytical rigor. You will work closely with actuarial, underwriting, and data teams to refine pricing models and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. The position also involves modernizing pricing systems and driving the adoption of advanced analytics and automation across workflows. You will play a key role in improving pricing accuracy, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and supporting the evolution of scalable pricing platforms. Operating in a highly collaborative and data-driven environment, you will help translate complex insights into actionable pricing strategies. This is a project-based, fully remote opportunity with significant impact on core insurance operations.

Accountabilities:

Oversee day-to-day P&C insurance pricing operations, ensuring alignment with profitability goals and overall business strategy.
Collaborate with actuarial and underwriting teams to support rate development, pricing strategy design, and performance evaluation.
Lead initiatives to modernize pricing tools, models, and systems by leveraging data analytics and advanced modeling techniques.
Drive automation and process improvement efforts within pricing workflows to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
Work with IT and data teams to implement and integrate new pricing platforms, tools, and data infrastructure.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as loss ratios, pricing accuracy, and portfolio performance trends.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance requirements related to pricing and product development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance with strong exposure to pricing, underwriting, or actuarial functions.
FCAS or ACAS designation preferred.
Strong understanding of insurance pricing methodologies, actuarial concepts, and financial performance metrics.
Experience working with data-driven pricing tools, models, and analytics platforms.
Proven ability to collaborate across actuarial, underwriting, IT, and data teams in complex environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Must be authorized to work in the United States, with residence in the continental U.S. required.
