This role focuses on designing and optimizing electrical power delivery systems across industrial, data center, and enterprise applications. Acting as a bridge between engineering and commercial teams, the architect drives innovation, supports digital transformation, and enhances technical capabilities across the organization.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul id="isPasted"><li><strong>Pre-Sales Support</strong><ul><li>Partner with Sales <strong>nationwide</strong> to provide technical expertise during business development and proposal efforts.</li><li>Interpret project specifications and guide estimation and design teams.</li><li>Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and technical documentation.</li></ul></li><li><strong>System Architecture & Design</strong><ul><li>Develop scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures.</li><li>Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and operational goals.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Product & Technology Collaboration</strong><ul><li>Evaluate and select components based on technical and commercial criteria.</li><li>Recommend design optimizations and alternative solutions.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Cross-Functional Engagement</strong><ul><li>Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams.</li><li>Refine solutions based on customer and stakeholder feedback.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Thought Leadership & Enablement</strong><ul><li>Represent IEM at industry events and promote technical solutions.</li><li>Mentor teams and support training initiatives to scale expertise.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Strategic Impact</strong><ul><li>Influence technical and commercial strategies to differentiate IEM solutions.</li><li>Advocate for technology integration and digital transformation.</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors in electrical engineering (Master’s degree preferred)</li><li>5+ years in power system architecture</li><li>Experience working with electrical power-distribution OEM</li><li>Expertise in UL, IEEE standards and industry practices</li><li>Data-center and colocation power-distribution experience, including high-availability distribution architectures</li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills</li><li>Power equipment sales or commercial collaboration</li><li>Innovation leadership and vendor engagement</li></ul><p><strong>Workplace Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.</li><li>Remote position</li><li>Travel is required</li></ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Why Join IEM</strong></p><p>At IEM, you’ll join a team that powers some of the world’s most ambitious projects.
