About the role
We’re looking for a Postdoctoral Scientist to join our Science team and help lead the next wave of real-world evidence (RWE) in nutrition and supplements. You’ll design and run fully remote, decentralized studies that explore how supplements perform outside the lab, starting with creatine and brain health, and expanding from there.
You’ll get to do real science in real-world conditions, blending large-scale data analysis with modern digital study design. You’ll also help translate findings into clear, engaging science stories that reach millions of consumers through our platform and community.
If you’ve ever thought, “I love research, but I want to move faster and see my work directly impact people,” this is that role. This position is a two-year appointment reporting to SuppCo’s Head of Science. The role will start in Q1, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale research studies using our 500k members, allowing us to answer meaningful questions and generate proprietary evidence that differentiates our brand.
- Build the next generation of nutrient journeys, using our existing models as a foundation while developing deeper, more personalized, and more scientifically rigorous user pathways.
- Expand and strengthen our supplement health database, creating tighter links between supplement recommendations, and outcome predictions to power future personalization and clinical-grade insights.
- Transform raw data into strategic insights, producing analyses that support product development, marketing campaigns, investor narratives, and industry-leading thought leadership.
- Elevate our scientific content footprint, contributing expert input to user-facing materials, long-form articles, and educational content that reinforces SuppCo as the trusted authority in the supplement space.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Epidemiology, or a related health science field.
- Experience designing or running real-world evidence or decentralized studies.
- Strong background in nutrition science; bonus points if you’ve worked with or personally use supplements.
- Skilled in data analysis and comfortable working with large datasets (Python, R, or equivalent).
- Excellent scientific writer, with a track record of published work.
- Interested in, or excited to learn, science communication for non-academic audiences.
- Thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative, and highly iterative environment.
- Curious, adaptable, and motivated by the idea of changing how people understand supplement science.
Location
- We are a remote-first organization that meets quarterly for team onsites in person. Our team is primarily based in the New York and Los Angeles areas, and our onsites are mostly held in NYC, but occasional travel may be expected. New York Tri-State area candidates are preferred but not required.
