Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines and Legend Biotech have entered into a global, strategic collaboration to develop, manufacture, and commercialize a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy for BCMA. This strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of two companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy CAR-T platform treatment.
Summary:
We are seeking a Platform Readiness Lead to be part of our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) team. This role is a hands‑on, project leader focused on coordinating and driving launch readiness activities for the MES platform. This role ensures the platform, processes, documentation, testing, training, and operational readiness are in place for a compliant, smooth go‑live at the manufacturing site. The position works cross‑functionally with IT, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Engineering, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day‑to‑day readiness activities such as tracking milestones, risks, and issues to closure.
Create, maintain, and execute detailed launch readiness plans and schedules (integration, validation, cutover, training).
Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams: validation/CSV, system integration, data migration, application support, SOPs/work instructions, training, and change control.
Drive and track testing activities: UAT, system/integration testing, performance tests, and production verification (IQ/OQ/PQ support as required).
Facilitate go/no‑go readiness reviews, readiness checklists, and readiness gating with stakeholders.
Maintain risk and issue logs; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for readiness blockers.
Manage stakeholder communication and status reporting (steering committee, program leads, site operational teams).
Prepare and review operational documentation required for go‑live: runbooks, support handover, standard operating procedures, and quick reference guides.
Support cutover planning and execution (downtime planning, data cutover, rollback plans).
Coordinate training rollout and confirm trainee proficiency; maintain training records and sign‑offs.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree is required, focused degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Technology is preferred.
Skills and Experience:
Required:
Minimum 4 years of experience in project coordination or project management within a regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or similar).
Proficiency in project tracking tools (MS Project / Smartsheet / Jira / Confluence) and common office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for requirements documentation, test plans, SOPs, and status reporting.
Experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
