ABOUT THIS ROLE

Aero is looking for a Pilot Scheduler to join the team! This role will be a member of the Flight Operations Team and will report to the Crew Scheduling and Records Supervisor. In this role, the Pilot Scheduler will be responsible for designing and communicating schedule modifications, making and monitoring travel arrangements and auditing daily schedules to ensure compliance with company and Federal Aviation Regulations.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure efficient utilization of pilots as well as day-to-day tracking of their attendance.
  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to crew members in a clear and timely manner.
  • Coordinate ground transportation, offline flights, and hotel accommodations for pilots and other crew-members as required.
  • Assess staffing levels and constraints to confirm or deny pilot availability for charter requests or schedule changes.
  • Ensure all crew duty, flight, and rest times meet applicable CFRs and Aero’s own internal requirements during daily operations and when building or modifying future schedules.
  • Support monthly schedule development and manage eligibility for the monthly bid list.
  • Any other duties assigned by management


REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Knowledge of FAR Part 135 and/or Part 121 operations required.
  • Previous work in a FAR Part 135, and/or 121 scheduling or operations.
  • Effective communication, including speaking, reading, writing, and active listening with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends on call based on department needs.
  • Able to give and receive feedback from a variety of channels.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities.


BENEFITS & PAY
  • Pay Range: $55,000-$70,000 annually in Los Angeles, CA [exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.]
