Physician Assistant (PA) – Full-Time Opportunity in Utica, New York

We are looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing healthcare team in Washington. As a PA, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of patient conditions while collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Conduct physical exams, take patient histories, and evaluate lab results to diagnose and treat common conditions and illnesses.
  • Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and manage therapies under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Work closely with physicians, specialists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Provide patients with information about their diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and practice policies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Active Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
  • Certification: Nationally certified by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
  • Experience: Prior experience in clinical practice is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
