This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager based in United States.

This role is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships while managing a diverse portfolio of personal insurance accounts. You will work closely with account leadership to deliver exceptional service, support policy management, and ensure clients receive accurate and timely solutions. The position requires strong attention to detail, independent decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting new business opportunities, renewals, and ongoing account servicing activities. Accountabilities:

The role focuses on managing and servicing personal insurance accounts, ensuring high-quality client experiences while supporting account growth, retention, and operational excellence.

  • Manage, evaluate, place, and service new and renewal personal insurance accounts.
  • Partner with account leadership to maintain and grow an assigned portfolio of personal lines clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through timely, knowledgeable, and professional communication.
  • Update and maintain client information within agency management systems, including policy details and account records.
  • Document all client interactions, transactions, and activities accurately.
  • Review client needs, analyze risk exposures, and determine appropriate coverage options.
  • Quote new and renewal policies through carrier platforms and rating tools.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and related documentation.
  • Bind coverage and coordinate required policy documents, including binders and identification cards.
  • Manage incoming emails, mail, and service requests efficiently.
  • Monitor payment status and support collection follow-up when necessary.
  • Prepare renewal communications and ensure required documents are processed accurately.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
  • Support additional operational tasks as needed to ensure effective account management.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong experience in personal lines insurance, excellent client service skills, and the ability to independently manage account responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.

  • Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License in good standing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling client and policy information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with agency management systems, especially AMS360, is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration.
  • Reliable attendance and professional accountability.
