In this role, you'll assist in processing payroll accurately and on time, maintain meticulous payroll records, and ensure compliance with relevant tax and wage laws. You will also serve as a key point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and help communicate updates related to payroll and company changes. The ideal candidate will bring discretion, adaptability, and a high level of professionalism to manage confidential information in a fast-paced environment. What you’ll do <ul><li>Payroll Processing & Administration <ul><li>Enter, audit, and verify payroll-related data in the payroll systems to support timely and accurate payroll runs </li><li>Collaborate with the payroll manager to review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies </li><li>Ensure timesheet compliance with internal policies </li><li>Maintain accurate payroll records to meet audit and regulatory requirements </li><li>Coordinate employee data updates with the Total Rewards team, including benefit deductions and compensation changes </li><li>Address and resolve employee payroll concerns efficiently and professionally </li></ul></li><li>Compliance & Reporting <ul><li>Help prepare and distribute payroll reports for internal stakeholders and auditors </li><li>Support compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and tax laws </li><li>Assist with year-end processing tasks, including W-2 reconciliation and distribution </li></ul></li><li>Employee Support & Communication <ul><li>Provide direct support to employees regarding payroll issues, tax updates, and pay statements </li><li>Help employees with setting up direct deposit, using the self-service portal, and updating tax withholdings </li><li>Communicate payroll policies and company changes clearly and proactively to employees </li></ul></li></ul>What we’re looking for <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) </li><li>1-3 years of payroll experience </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel </li><li>Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now and/or Workday preferred </li><li>Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong analytical, teamwork and organizational skills </li><li>Positive, enthusiastic energy with a desire to learn </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities </li><li>Proven ability to manage confidential information with integrity </li><li>Capacity to adapt to shifting priorities and thrive under pressure </li></ul>As a remote, hourly position, the pay for this role is: <ul><li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="30" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="6" data-aria-level="1">$29.00-$33.65/hour </li></ul><div class="content-conclusion">Total Rewards Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.  Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package.
