Responsibilities

  • Answer patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information in a professional manner.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments while minimizing gaps and optimizing clinic operations.
  • Process patient registration, ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Provide assistance to patients in completing necessary forms and insurance documentation as needed.
  • Support healthcare providers by preparing patient charts and managing incoming phone calls and triaging them appropriately.
  • Follow up with patients regarding test results, treatment plans, and any necessary additional information required for care.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and enhance the overall patient experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and support.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
