Accountabilities:

You will support end-to-end patient accounting functions to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and compliance with internal policies and healthcare regulations. Your work will directly contribute to the financial stability of healthcare services while maintaining a strong patient experience.

Handle patient billing and collection activities, including payment posting, cash reconciliation, refunds, and credit processing
Perform insurance follow-up, claim submission, and resolution of billing discrepancies
Provide customer service support in a call center or patient-facing environment, addressing inquiries and resolving account issues
Support self-pay collections and financial assistance-related processes when applicable
Ensure all activities are completed in alignment with departmental procedures, compliance standards, and revenue cycle objectives

Requirements:

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a structured healthcare finance environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with systems, data, and patient interactions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service or a healthcare-related environment
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Basic PC proficiency and comfort working with billing or administrative systems
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently while following established procedures
Professional, patient-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
