Welcome to Brightline! We are searching for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our Legal team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining legal compliance, managing documentation, and enabling our attorneys to focus on high-priority strategic work. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare environment.
Review NDAs and Independent Contractors, using internal templates and playbooks and under supervision.
Prepares draft summaries of Health Plan/Employer contracts, identifying key terms and operational requirements.
Track contract expirations and renewals coordinating with internal stakeholders in accordance with the vendor process.
Manage the execution process via DocuSign and handle departmental mail
Maintain contract database integrity and ensure accurate data governance and reporting
Build reports and dashboards, and analyze data to answer questions from our business partners.
Support corporate compliance programs including policy maintenance, training coordination, and documentation.
Contribute to the creation of playbooks, checklists, and updating of tools that enhance department workflow efficiency.
Contribute to Legal Department initiatives, Legal Hub/intranet, and other resources, supporting the Company’s broader operational goals.
Assist with research and document preparation.
Assist in resolving both internal and external department requests
Act as a versatile team player, supporting various tasks ​​and evolving departmental needs.
Equity plan administration.
Management of training compliance.
SOC2 and HIPAA audit tactical support.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a contracts specialist, legal operations, or paralegal role
BA/BS degree in a related field
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interface professionally with executives, external counsel, and cross-functional partners.
High degree of discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential legal matters.
Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Ability and willingness to learn new software programs and AI tooling
Contributes to a collaborative and productive environment, positively impacting cross-functional work across Brightline.

It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $75,000-$85,000.
