POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Technology Manager in overseeing daily workflows, optimizing operational processes, and delivering regular performance reports. This role serves as the primary, frontline resource for the Operations Team—providing daily guidance, addressing roadblocks, and coaching team members to meet high performance standards. Additionally, the Operations Supervisor assists in identifying training opportunities and ensuring operational efficiency across external vendors.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Core Competencies):

Workflow Monitoring and Adjustment: Assist the Technology Manager in monitoring daily workflows, rapidly responding to shifting operational priorities, and making real-time adjustments to maintain team efficiency.

Team Communication and Support: Act as the first point of contact for the operations team. Communicate regularly to maintain high productivity, resolve daily queries, and escalate complex personnel issues to the Technology Manager when necessary. (Advanced)

Reporting and Analysis: Track daily processing metrics and compile comprehensive weekly reports detailing production volume. Identify operational trends and present data-driven recommendations for process improvements to the Technology Manager. (Intermediate)

Feedback and Corrective Action: Provide timely, constructive feedback to team members when course corrections are required. Partner closely with the Technology Manager to design and implement long-term solutions. (Advanced).

Training and Coaching: Identify skills gaps and training needs within the team. Collaborate with the Technology Manager to provide insights and execute strategies for staff development. (Intermediate).

Operational Transparency: Maintain full transparency of workflow queues, productivity metrics, and performance risks with the Technology Manager and relevant stakeholders. (Intermediate).

Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and special projects as delegated by the Technology Manager to support the overarching goals of the department. (Beginner).

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Leadership and Team Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to set clear performance expectations, motivate a team, and hold individuals accountable to goals. (Advanced).

Communication and Organizational Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong organizational habits to manage competing priorities. (Advanced).

Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to independently analyze complex situations, find root causes, and recommend actionable solutions. (Advanced).

Detail-Oriented and Multi-Tasking Ability: High attention to detail and the capacity to accurately manage multiple workflows under tight time constraints. (Advanced).

Process Improvement Orientation: Passion for operations and a commitment to process excellence, with a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities (Intermediate).

Vendor Coordination: Experience monitoring and maintaining external vendor relationships to ensure service quality, accuracy, and SLA compliance. (Intermediate).

Stress Management Skills: Proven ability to maintain composure, perform well under pressure, and adapt seamlessly to changing priorities. (Intermediate).

Independent Work and Self-Direction: Proven ability to work autonomously, take full ownership of projects, and drive results with minimal direct supervision (Advanced).

 

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in operations processing, with demonstrated skills in managing workflow and process improvement (Required).

Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets are preferred.

Experience in benefits administration is a plus.

Benefits

NOTE: This position pays $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year, plus bonus potential.
