The OpportunityÂ
The Product Delivery team requires a leader in new product and sustaining operations to own your product vertical and drive our expanding portfolio of hardware platforms to successful outcomes across the Field Operations, Supply Chain, Device Engineering, and Growth teams. This includes emerging hardware platforms that are preparing for launch and scaled products in life cycle management, with a specific focus on our Video, LPR, & Audio programs. Key responsibilities will be providing an operational perspective on early stage deployment and supportability, building documentation to support Operations and Revenue cross-functional partners, getting hands on in the field to provide feedback relevant to scaling hardware products, being the operational leader that works closely with our Engineering Technical Program Managers to facilitate a smooth transition from benchtop to the customer, and partnering with Supply Chain to ensure uninterrupted customer delivery over the lifecycle of the product. Ultimately, in this role youâll support in building, distributing, installing, and maintaining our hardware nationwide.
The SkillsetÂ
Experience partnering across Operations functions to lead programs that achieve critical business outcomes around hardware delivery
Ability to gain alignment and drive decisions with key stakeholders, including Product, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to ensure dependencies are identified and project goals are clear
Capable of identifying gaps or risks and moving quickly to mitigate those issues. At Flock we take ownership and resolve problems, never assuming âsomeone else is going to take care of itâ
Ability to foster a great project environment with communication at its core - you will facilitate team meetings, keep the team on priority tasks, document assumptions and decisions, wrangle slack conversations, and anything else it takes to ensure consistent alignment and forward progress
Have a technical background that provides the foundation for navigating our engineering environment with ease, alongside a teaching mindset to enable teams across the company on new products
Have experience with project management software. Specific administrative experience with the Atlassian (Jira) portfolio is preferred
Have experience with business tools (Salesforce) and analytical tools (BigQuery, Sigma)Â
Have proven experience as a member or leader of a team that has shipped consumer or IOT electronic devices
Have familiarity with embedded software solutions, especially Android

Execute project plans with regular meetings, close each weekâs priority deliverables, communicate results
Strengthen partnerships with internal stakeholders and key customers, ensure your projects are still calibrated for current success and you are on track to hit targets
Regularly escalate any perceived or real deliverable risk, with details and recommendations on how to mitigate
Recommend improvements within our Delivery function; communication methods, tools, general process to help the team always make forward progress
90 Days & BeyondÂ
Continue to successfully execute project plans with regular meetings, close each weekâs priority deliverables, communicate results
Work closely with Ops, Engineering, and Product partners to identify and capture business needs; translate to specific project initiatives to roll up into the broader operational execution processes
Evaluate your successes and areas for improvement with your manager; recalibrate and plan for changes needed to accomplish next quarters goals
