The F135 Netherlands Site Manager Note is an expat position located in The Netherlands. This position will use self-initiative and judgment to identify problems, provide planning and guidance for F135 operations to include, tooling, material, and program requirements. The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day supplier production activities and activation schedules for future MRO&U capabilities. This position will provide Program-level direction to all P&W and key Product Support Provider (PSP) management. This position is responsible for the relationship between P&W and the PSP with respect to meeting all contractual requirements. The Site Manager will team with other P&W on-site personnel to achieve F135 Program goals, implement and oversee Environmental, Health and Safety compliance and be the main point of contact for Human Resources and Ethics & Compliance resolutions.

What Will You Do

  • Provides direction to a large cross-functional team of experienced team leaders, overseeing customer contract requirements to ensure quality and consistency in solving site issues. Also, influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures

  • Oversee Depot maintenance execution of engines & modules at the Netherlands F135 Depot

  • Contacts key stakeholders to resolve complaints and establish the appropriate improvement plan

  • Back up for Technology Control Security Managers and Operations Manager

  • Manages statement of work to meet customer and contract requirements and optimize strategies to efficiently meet contractual requirements

  • Owns the execution of the long-term maintenance strategy alongside the operations team, and provides program management requirements to the Activations and Operations Manager

  • Drives and supports P&W Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) initiatives with the operations team.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, engineering or technical field with 12+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. An Associate’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience or 16+ years of relevantexperience in lieu of degree may also be considered.

  • 12+ years of combined program management, leadership, and technical experience or an advance degree with 10+ years of combined program management, leadership, and technical experience

  • 5+ years experience with propulsion

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. 

  • Must be willing to flex schedule to support business demands while on assignment to include working weekends and holiday.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner

  • Familiarity with engine MRO Depot level maintenance

  • Lean manufacturing experience

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence multiple functional groups to reach a common objective

  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and exceeding customer expectations in an MRO operations or production environment

  • Excellent communication skills; candidate must be comfortable providing briefings at all levels of management

  • Ability to influence decisions downstream and upstream

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
