About the role
As an MSP Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will work with the partner sales managers to recruit net new MSPs and help accelerate monthly recurring revenue. We need relationship builders with a strong understanding of VDI and EUC technologies to continue to grow our most prized partnership with Microsoft and its sales teams. You must be highly motivated and take an entrepreneurial approach to growing the relationship and revenue in addition to being a team player.
Our ideal MSP SDR is highly skilled and has a partnership-selling approach.
You’ll be juggling MSP prospect engagements, nurturing and managing a healthy lead flow with a focus on both inbound and outbound prospecting all at the same time – so being organized and having a positive outlook is key – and don’t be afraid to ask those stupid questions, working together is how we roll here!

What you'll do
- Collaborate with the Partner Success Managers (PSMs) to identify prospective MSPs and help identify businesses they can drive on our behalf.
- Build strong relationships with Microsoft and its sales teams to grow the partnership and revenue.
- Attend events, pitch, and demonstrate the technology to earn a follow-up meeting.
- Effectively communicate Nerdio's value proposition, capabilities, and benefits to potential customers.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets.
- Juggle multiple opportunities simultaneously, maintaining organization and a positive outlook.
- Coordinate with other departments within the organization to ensure customer needs are met.
- Demonstrate integrity and follow through on commitments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development or a similar sales role, preferably in the technology industry: selling cloud computing, IT services, or software-as-a-service (SaaS).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and quotas.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and processes, including lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying leads.
- Strong communication and the ability to convey the value proposition of the company's products or services.
- Ability to understand customer needs.
- Experience with CRM software and other sales development tools for managing and tracking customer interactions.
- Experienced in leveraging sales engagement tools such as Gong, Apollo, Tech Target, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience in conducting product demonstrations or presentations to potential customers.
- Proven expertise in partnership selling and building relationships with key stakeholders
- Highly motivated and self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
