Mid-Level Earned Value Analyst IRES

The Mid-Level Earned Value Analyst will support project control activities by analyzing financial and schedule performance, maintaining earned value processes, and providing insights that help program leaders manage cost, risk, and execution.

• Support project controls, cost accounting, and financial analysis activities by integrating scope, cost, and schedule information to evaluate program performance.
• Implement, maintain, and review Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) in alignment with established processes and industry standards.
• Track planned value, earned value, and actual costs to prepare monthly performance reports, including Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMRs).
• Analyze cost and schedule variances in collaboration with control account managers and program stakeholders.
• Evaluate Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and Estimates at Completion (EACs) to identify financial risks and support corrective actions.
• Conduct research, analysis, and reporting activities to improve program visibility and performance tracking.
• Apply strong attention to detail when reviewing financial data, metrics, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with program management teams to support successful execution of complex initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience in earned value management, project controls, and financial analysis, with the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

• Minimum of 10 years of overall professional work experience, with at least 5 years of directly related experience in earned value management, project controls, or a similar field.
• Experience supporting complex programs involving cost, schedule, and performance measurement.
• At least 6 months of experience working in a management or leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of Earned Value Management methodologies and project management principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of Deltek Cobra, Empower, or other earned value management software tools.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and maintain accuracy in reporting.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required or ability to obtain one.
• Preferred experience includes proficiency with Deltek Cobra, MS Project, financial systems, and earned value tools.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
