Mercor uses RippleMatch to find top talent.</strong></p><h3> </h3><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Mercor is recruiting U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/Singapore/Dubai/Australia-based <strong>Investment Banking or Private Equity Experts</strong> for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.</p><p>You are a good fit if you:</p><ul><li><p>Have <strong>at least 2 years of experience</strong> working at top firms in investment banking or private equity with deal experience (academic experience does not count, must be on desk)</p></li></ul><p>Here are more details about the role:</p><ul><li><p>The work is <strong>fully asynchronous</strong> and can be done around your schedule</p></li><li><p>You will be <strong>building financial models</strong> from scratch that would be reflective of what you did on desk</p></li><li><p>You must be able to commit <strong>at least 20 hours per week</strong> for this role</p></li><li><p>This contract is till end of February (with the possibility of extension)</p></li><li><p>Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor</p></li><li><p>The vetting process involves:</p><ul><li><p>~10 minute behavioral interview asking about previous deals you’ve worked on</p></li><li><p>Technical assessment ( < 30 minutes) evaluating financial expertise</p></li></ul></li></ul><p>With respect to pay and legal status:</p><ul><li><p><strong>This role will pay $150/hour</strong></p></li><li><p>We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect based on the number of hours you log</p></li><li><p>You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor</p></li><li><p>Please note that we <strong>cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates</strong></p></li></ul><p> </p>
