About Liquid AI

Spun out of MIT CSAIL, we build general-purpose AI systems that run efficiently across deployment targets, from data center accelerators to on-device hardware, ensuring low latency, minimal memory usage, privacy, and reliability. We partner with enterprises across consumer electronics, automotive, life sciences, and financial services. We are scaling rapidly and need exceptional people to help us get there.

The Opportunity

You'll join our Product team to build the interfaces that make complex AI workflows feel simple. Our platform helps enterprises customize, deploy, and manage AI models without needing deep ML expertise. You'll own the frontend systems that translate sophisticated machine learning capabilities into intuitive user experiences, working directly with ML researchers, backend engineers, and designers in a fast-moving environment where your decisions shape the product.

While San Francisco and Boston are preferred, we are open to other locations.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who:

  • Thrives in ambiguity: You can take a vague goal like "add authentication" and break it into actionable work without waiting for detailed specs

  • Unblocks themselves: When an API needs changing, you jump in and fix it rather than waiting on the backend. You ask questions, but make decisions to keep moving

  • Owns the product: You care about user feedback, monitor metrics, and proactively surface improvements. You're not just pushing pixels

  • Balances speed and quality: You know when to prototype fast and when to build for scale. You ship without accumulating unnecessary tech debt

The Work

  • Build and iterate on frontend systems for our AI model customization and deployment platform

  • Create intuitive interfaces that make complex ML workflows accessible to non-technical enterprise users

  • Collaborate with ML researchers and backend engineers to design seamless data flows and API contracts

  • Polish demos and prototypes for enterprise customers on short timelines

  • Contribute to our mobile app if you have native development experience

Desired Experience

Must-have:

  • Strong proficiency in React and Next.js with TypeScript

  • Experience with modern frontend tooling (TailwindCSS, component libraries like ShadCN)

  • Comfort working with APIs, data models, and making light backend modifications when needed

  • Track record of shipping in fast-paced, ambiguous environments (startup or early-stage experience valued)

Nice-to-have:

  • Native mobile development experience (iOS Swift or Android Kotlin)

  • Experience building enterprise software, developer tools, or AI-based workflow products

  • Familiarity with Postgres-style databases (Supabase, Neon) and RESTful API design

What Success Looks Like (Year One)

  • Frontend is no longer a bottleneck: the team trusts you to handle any UI work end-to-end

  • You've shipped major features that enterprise customers use daily

  • You've established patterns and components that accelerate the entire product team

What We Offer

  • Real ownership: You'll own the frontend across multiple product surfaces with room to expand into other areas

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary with equity in a unicorn-stage company

  • Health: We pay 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees and dependents

  • Financial: 401(k) matching up to 4% of base pay

  • Time Off: Unlimited PTO plus company-wide Refill Days throughout the year
