Member of Technical Staff (Applied AI)

The Member of Technical Staff (Applied AI) will be responsible for developing, deploying, and improving AI solutions while collaborating across technical and customer-facing teams. This role requires strong ownership, adaptability, and the ability to translate advanced AI capabilities into meaningful applications.

• Productionize frontier AI models to address complex business and technical challenges.
• Collaborate closely with researchers and engineering teams to implement the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Work directly with customers to integrate AI models into existing technology ecosystems and workflows.
• Drive product impact by owning technical solutions from concept through execution.
• Take ownership of end-to-end projects, including identifying challenges, designing solutions, and delivering results.
• Contribute as a founding member of a rapidly growing team by supporting a variety of technical and strategic initiatives.
• Help shape product development, engineering practices, and applied AI strategies.
• Continuously explore new technologies and approaches to improve AI capabilities and customer outcomes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated machine learning professional with experience building AI products and solving complex technical problems. They should combine strong engineering skills with excellent communication abilities and a customer-focused mindset.

• Experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar applied AI engineering role, ideally building AI products for external users or customers.
• Practical experience working with transformer models, large language models (LLMs), and modern machine learning architectures.
• Strong ability to understand ambiguous problems, develop practical solutions, and deliver results independently.
• Experience owning technical projects end-to-end and rapidly learning new concepts and technologies.
• Background as a technical founder or experience operating in a high-ownership startup environment is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for applying AI to real-world use cases.
