Role Overview:
The Medicare Advantage Strategy Consultant will lead a comprehensive root cause analysis of our previous growth efforts and provide strategic insights and recommendations for future initiatives. This role requires deep knowledge of the Medicare Advantage landscape, particularly in Arizona and Texas, and an ability to translate market dynamics into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct an in-depth root cause analysis of underperformance in Medicare Advantage growth initiatives in Arizona and Texas.
- Assess internal data, marketing efforts, provider relationships, network adequacy, and competitive positioning.
- Provide a thorough understanding of the current Medicare Advantage landscape, including regulatory trends, demographic shifts, and competitor strategies.
- Develop strategic recommendations and actionable plans for improving performance in targeted markets.
Present findings and strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, operations, and provider relations to ensure feasibility and alignment of strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Medicare Advantage, with a strong track record of strategic analysis and performance improvement.
- Expertise in healthcare markets in Arizona and Texas, including regulatory and demographic nuances.
- Experience conducting root cause analyses and strategic reviews in complex healthcare environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in healthcare consulting or payer strategy.
- Familiarity with CMS regulations and Star Ratings.
- Understanding of value-based care models and their impact on Medicare Advantage growth.
