Accountabilities:

Translate, adapt, and validate medical and life sciences content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Review and localize patient records, clinical protocols, and regulated healthcare documentation for Quechua-language markets.
Apply life sciences expertise to ensure terminology consistency across pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology content.
Work within strict quality frameworks such as GxP environments and ISO 17100 standards.
Follow terminology guidelines, reference materials, and client instructions with high precision and attention to detail.
Conduct regulatory review of translated content to ensure alignment with applicable healthcare and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality translations within defined deadlines.

Requirements:

Native-level proficiency in Quechua with excellent command of English for source text comprehension.
Based in the United States as required for eligibility.
Professional background in translation, linguistics, or language studies (degree preferred), or equivalent experience through 2–5+ years of professional translation work.
Proven experience in medical or life sciences translation, including regulated healthcare content.
Strong understanding of terminology management and translation consistency practices.
Ability to follow strict guidelines, compliance requirements, and reference documentation accurately.
Experience working with patient records, clinical documentation, or pharmaceutical content is highly preferred.
High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines in a contract-based workflow.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and quality assurance standards in medical translation is a strong plus.
