You will act as a key subject matter expert, helping design and refine clinical programs that improve care delivery, efficiency, and patient outcomes at scale. You will also engage directly with clients, supporting growth initiatives and strengthening strategic partnerships. Accountabilities:- Lead the development and evolution of clinical and digital care management strategies, collaborating across clinical, product, analytics, operations, and growth teams
- Serve as a clinical subject matter expert, guiding program design, innovation, and strategic direction for specialty and utilization management initiatives
- Support go-to-market efforts by engaging with prospective and existing clients, articulating clinical value propositions and addressing care delivery challenges
- Contribute to the design and execution of new clinical programs, including specialty care and digital health solutions
- Participate in strategic planning, identifying opportunities to enhance clinical offerings and expand partnerships
- Provide physician leadership in the development of research packages, clinical insights, and external collaboration strategies
- Support implementation and ongoing optimization of clinical programs, including post-launch performance monitoring and continuous improvement
- Advise on utilization management frameworks, medical policy development, and clinical decision-making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between clinical strategy and business objectives
Requirements:
- MD or DO with completion of a US-based residency program and active, unrestricted medical license
- Board certification in a relevant specialty, with preference for general medicine, surgery, or sleep medicine
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience beyond residency or fellowship
- 5+ years of experience in managed care, payer organizations, health tech, or clinical strategy roles
- Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, payer dynamics, and utilization management processes
- Experience designing or leading innovative clinical programs within payer or healthcare technology environments
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, build trust with clients, and operate at an executive level
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams
- Ability to balance clinical expertise with strategic business thinking in a fast-paced environment
- MBA or advanced healthcare-related degree preferred
