This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the clinical direction of a rapidly growing telehealth organization focused on metabolic health and individualized patient care. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, and compliant medical practices across a distributed care model serving patients nationwide. Acting as both a clinical leader and practicing physician, you will oversee providers, refine care protocols, and contribute to the evolution of innovative treatment programs. The role requires close collaboration with executive leadership, operations, and clinical teams to ensure consistent standards of care and optimal patient outcomes. You will also help guide the development of new clinical initiatives while staying actively engaged in direct patient care. This is a highly impactful position for a physician leader passionate about modern, technology-enabled healthcare delivery.


Accountabilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and medical oversight across physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and health coaches delivering care in a telehealth environment.
  • Ensure all clinical services meet regulatory, legal, and ethical standards across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
  • Serve as a key clinical authority for complex cases, escalations, and provider support.
  • Develop, review, and continuously improve clinical protocols, guidelines, and care pathways based on current evidence and best practices.
  • Support the design and implementation of new clinical programs, therapies, and care models aligned with metabolic health and chronic disease management.
  • Lead provider onboarding, training, and ongoing education to maintain high standards of care across the organization.
  • Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and provider performance evaluation processes.
  • Collaborate with operations and patient experience teams to improve outcomes, satisfaction, and continuity of care.
  • Analyze clinical data and performance metrics to support continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Provide direct patient consultations and maintain active clinical engagement as part of the care model.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license, with multi-state licensure preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience working with or overseeing advanced practice providers (NPs and/or PAs).
  • Strong understanding of telehealth delivery models, regulatory compliance, and multi-state medical practice.
  • Excellent clinical judgment with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in metabolic health, weight management, women’s health, hormone therapy, or chronic disease management is preferred.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong collaborative mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
