Curex is the place to go for all your allergy questions and needs. Led by healthcare entrepreneurs and allergy clinicians, Curex is an integrated, online telemedicine clinic for people who suffer from food allergies, environmental allergies (e.g., indoor, outdoor or pet), asthma, and eczema.
We are revolutionizing how people treat allergies by bringing allergy immunotherapy to our customers’ doorstep, making it more convenient than ever to treat the source of their allergies, not just the symptoms.
Job Summary: Curex is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented medical assistant to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will assist the team in providing exceptional patient care by performing a variety of administrative tasks. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
Respond to patient emails in a timely and professional manner
Upload patient test results and other medical documents to the patient portal
Handle prior authorizations for medications as needed
Upload lab orders into partner portals
Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
Assist with patient check-in and scheduling appointments as needed
Qualifications:
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
Prior experience with telehealth platforms is a plus
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly
Strong organizational and time-management skills
