MEDIA OPERATIONS & ANALYTICS MANAGER 

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time Consultant (Contract Role)

Compensation: $8,500.00 / month

WorkMoney Media is a subsidiary of the non-profit WorkMoney, Inc., an organization dedicated to lowering costs and putting money back into the pockets of everyday Americans, including its 8 million members. We produce content that furthers our foundational belief that if you work hard, you should be able to afford a good life. We make informational videos, radio, literature and other media that introduces our audience to the tentpoles of personal finance and promotes financial literacy.

Why do we need a Media Operations & Analytics Manager?
As WorkMoney Media continues to grow, we need a Media Operations & Analytics Manager to provide critical operational support, working closely with the Sr. Operations Consultant and the Supervising Producer to manage content workflows and ensure projects move efficiently from development to distribution. In addition to supporting day-to-day operations, this role will drive data-driven decision-making for our media team, with a focus on YouTube analytics, audience insights, and performance tracking across platforms to optimize our content strategy and ensure maximum impact.

This will be a full-time consultant position (contract role) with the potential for growth as the company expands.

Scope of Work includes but is not limited to: 

  • Operations & Project Management: Support the Head of Operations with day-to-day tasks, project coordination, calendar updates, and workflow optimizations.
  • Schedule, Travel, and Meeting Support: Schedule and coordinate meetings for senior leadership, book travel and accommodations as needed, prepare meeting materials, and take and distribute clear, actionable meeting notes.
  • Content Trafficking & Coordination: Work closely with the Supervising Producer to manage content trafficking, ensuring assets and projects move efficiently through the production pipeline.
  • YouTube & Digital Analytics: Own reporting and analysis for WorkMoney Media’s digital platforms, with a primary focus on YouTube analytics — tracking views, retention, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Performance Monitoring & Insights: Build dashboards and reports around our KPIs to provide real-time insights, translating data into actionable recommendations for the content team.
  • SEO & Audience Development: Use data to inform best practices for YouTube growth, content optimization, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with creative, production, and editorial teams to ensure data-backed decision-making and efficient project execution.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Mission & Values Alignment. You are inspired by WorkMoney Media’s purpose and are committed to meaningfully improving the financial well-being of everyday Americans.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in operations, analytics, digital media and/or similar role, with proven ability to handle senior management interactions and sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Project Management & Organizational Skills: Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Strong familiarity with YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, data visualization tools (Tableau or similar), and other social media analytics platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
  • Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Adaptability: Experience in a startup or dynamic environment and familiarity with working in a media organization and with keen problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a start-up or fast-growing digital media environment.
  • Experience in digital media, production, entertainment, and/or Film/TV/Radio
  • Experience assisting executive-level personnel
  • Knowledge of YouTube growth strategies and best practices.
  • Passion for media, content strategy, and helping audiences make smarter financial decisions.

The compensation range for this role is $8,500.00/month, for a 12 month contract.
