About the role:

As a Marketplace Support Associate, you will own technical support and escalation for Vistar’s DSP, while helping clients leverage our offering within the marketplace. As a marketplace support team member, you will not only solve real customer problems but also define how Vistar operationalizes demand-side support now and in the future.

What you'll do:

  • Act as first line of support for debugging Marketplace campaign issues across the DSP and SSP as well as troubleshooting DSP issues internally and externally (e.g. campaign underdelivery). 

  • Provide technical support to clients and internal team members; Understand problems and communicate effective solutions while keeping Vistar’s customer set happy 

  • Coordinate with the product and support engineering teams to improve our demand side product suite, processes, documentation, and internal tools, and ensure internal teams and resources are working efficiently and effectively 

  • Work with Client Success and Sales teams to communicate technical issues to our internal Product and Engineering teams, and liaise with our client’s technical teams 

  • Project manage troubleshooting efforts with internal technical teams and  communicate solutions back to GTM support and sales teams

  • Identify client knowledge gaps and assist in creating appropriate documentation and product training plans

  • Become an expert in Vistar’s Marketplace products and services in order to provide top-tier service and support to clients

What experience we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years supporting ad tech products (ideally a DSP), through project management of product and technical support issues

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Experience troubleshooting DSPs, SSPs, APIs; Experience troubleshooting partner-facing technical issues (e.g. related to APIs, SQL queries, etc.)

  • Experience with technical concepts and coding languages (HTML and JavaScript)

  • Fluent in Excel and comfortable working with data

  • A positive attitude and desire to make clients happy

At Vistar Media, we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and other relevant business considerations. These considerations can cause compensation to vary.  Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position. The salary range estimate for this position as performed in New York City is $65,000-75,000, plus bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with company match, and a lifestyle stipend. The salary range for this position as performed outside of New York City may vary. The actual pay will be at Vistar Media’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
