About the Role

The Marketing Outbound Specialist is responsible for owning and executing scalable outbound prospecting programs that drive high-quality lead generation and new deal creation. This role focuses on targeting ideal customer profiles through the design of sophisticated email campaigns and the continuous optimization of outbound performance. By delivering a consistent volume of sales-ready leads, you will empower our Sales team to efficiently engage, qualify, and convert interest into a predictable revenue pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outbound-attributed lead and deal creation goals through strategic outbound email prospecting initiatives.
  • Design and execute successful outbound campaign experiments, utilizing documented briefs to test hypotheses and scale winning strategies.
  • Maintain deliverability standards, ensuring email benchmarks meet t deliverability targets while optimizing for minimal unsubscribe and bounce rates.
  • Drive quarter-over-quarter improvements in engagement metrics, including email open rates, reply rates, and positive response rates.
  • Expand and refresh account and contact lists to ensure outbound efforts remain focused on the most high-value opportunities.
  • Facilitate seamless lead handoffs to the Sales team by providing comprehensive context, campaign specifics, and source clarity for every prospect.
  • Develop and manage automated workflows for list creation, data enrichment, and segmentation to ensure consistent campaign performance.
  • Analyze campaign data and reporting to track attribution, monitor funnel health, and inform future prospecting decisions.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in B2B marketing, growth, or outbound prospecting with a proven track record in email-based demand generation.
  • Expertise in outbound prospecting and enrichment platforms, such as Clay, to build complex workflows and scale list creation.
  • Proficiency in executing high-volume outbound sequences using dedicated platforms like Instantly or similar tools.
  • Advanced technical skills in managing prospect lists, including applying ICP-based filters and maintaining rigorous data quality.
  • Professional copywriting skills with the ability to draft compelling outbound messaging and iterate based on performance testing.
  • Advanced spreadsheet capabilities for data manipulation, list management, and analyzing campaign outputs.
  • Strong operational discipline with a focus on data accuracy, campaign documentation, and process consistency.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales and Revenue teams to align prospecting efforts with pipeline goals.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Familiarity with marketing platform integrations and the flow of data between CRM and automation systems.
  • Proficiency in building AI-driven workflows using automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or n8n.
  • Experience utilizing diverse enrichment tools like Clearbit, Apollo, or ZoomInfo to enhance prospect data.

Compensation: 

Compensation at the time of offer is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of Harbor Compliance’s total compensation package. Other benefits may include health benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement. Note that the salary range and benefits apply only to U.S.-based candidates.
