About Rad AI

At Rad AI, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare with artificial intelligence. Founded by a radiologist, our AI-driven solutions are revolutionizing radiology—saving time, reducing burnout, and improving patient care. With one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world, our AI has helped uncover hundreds of new cancer diagnoses and reduced error rates in tens of millions of radiology reports by nearly 50%.

Rad AI has secured over $140M in funding, including a recently oversubscribed Series C ($68M round) led by Transformation Capital, bringing our valuation to $528M. Our investors include Khosla Ventures, World Innovation Lab, Gradient Ventures, Cone Health Ventures, and others—all backing our mission to empower physicians with cutting-edge AI.

Our latest advancements in generative AI are used by thousands of radiologists daily, supporting more than one-third of radiology groups and healthcare systems and nearly 50% of all medical imaging in the U.S. at partners including Cone Health, Jefferson Einstein Health, Geisinger, Guthrie Healthcare System, and Henry Ford Health.

Recognized as one of the most promising healthcare AI companies by CB Insights and AuntMinnie, and ranked by Deloitte as the 19th fastest-growing company in North America, we are building AI-powered solutions that make a real impact. Most recently, Rad AI was named to CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list, highlighting the innovation and momentum behind our mission.

If you’re ready to shape the future of healthcare, we’d love to have you on our team!

Why Join Rad AI

  • Join a high-impact growth team at a defining moment — we’re scaling rapidly off of strong product–market fit in a category that’s exploding

  • Work directly with experienced Sales, Growth, and RevOps leaders who will invest in your development and give you a clear path to career progression

  • Remote-first flexibility with strong benefits, equity, and the opportunity to grow with a Series C company at a pivotal moment in scale.

  • Be part of a mission-driven team transforming healthcare and making a tangible difference for physicians and patients every day

The Role

As a Market Development Representative (MDR) at Rad AI, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth engine — turning interest into qualified conversations and pipeline. You’ll focus on engaging radiology groups and health systems, educating them on where Rad AI fits, and booking high-quality meetings for our Sales Reps.

This is an individual contributor role: you’ll own clear meeting targets, run structured outbound and inbound follow-up, and be a key connector between Marketing, Sales, and RevOps. You won’t be asked to build the entire function from scratch, but you will have plenty of room to shape our playbooks, messaging, and best practices as we scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website forms, events, and partner channels

  • Conduct personalized outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) to targeted accounts to generate new meetings

  • Research target accounts (radiology practices, health systems, academic centers) to understand org structure and identify the right stakeholders

  • Personalize outreach based on persona (clinical, economic, strategic, technical), segment, and likely use case

  • Master the Rad AI story and clearly articulate our value to radiologists, IT leaders, and executive buyers

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to build qualified pipeline and hand off meetings that align to agreed SLAs

  • Document all activity, notes, and lead status accurately in HubSpot (and Salesforce, where applicable)

  • Follow and refine sequenced cadences for different segments (private practice, community systems, academic, IDNs)

  • Share feedback on messaging, ICP fit, objections, and lead quality to help Marketing and Sales continuously improve

  • Hit and exceed core MDR metrics: activities, meetings set, show rates, and qualified pipeline created

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in a Sales, Sales Development or Business Development role (preferably B2B SaaS)

  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders in complex or technical sales environments

  • Familiarity with healthcare industry (radiology added bonus)

  • Proven track record of booking meetings and generating qualified opportunities for a sales team

  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders in complex or technical environments (e.g., clinical leaders, CIOs, CFOs)

  • Familiarity with healthcare or radiology is a bonus, but not required — willingness to learn the space is required

  • Excellent communication skills — clear, confident, and curious in both email and live conversations

  • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo/Outreach, etc.)

  • Strong research skills: you know how to dig into an account, identify the real buyer, and tailor a message that lands

  • Tenacious self-starter who takes ownership, follows through, and treats pipeline generation like a craft

  • Motivated by challenge, not discouraged by rejection — you see objections as opportunities to learn and sharpen your approach

  • Organized and process-oriented: you respect clean data, consistent follow-up, and disciplined use of sequences and statuses

  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment

  • Genuine interest in mission-driven technology that improves clinician experience and patient care

Join our world-class team as we build and deploy AI solutions that empower physicians and transform patient care—making a meaningful impact on millions of lives. Driven by our mission,  we prioritize transparency, inclusion, and close collaboration, bringing together exceptional people to revolutionize healthcare. If you're passionate about driving innovation and delivering impactful healthcare solutions, we'd love to hear from you!
