We are seeking a hands-on and solutions-oriented Maritime Technical Fleet Project Manager to oversee the technical integrity, reliability, and modernization of a fleet of vessels. This role combines project management expertise with maritime engineering knowledge to deliver safe, sustainable, and operationally efficient projects. You will coordinate across shipboard teams, shoreside departments, and external vendors to ensure timely and compliant project execution. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic and remote environments, translating technical requirements into actionable plans while minimizing operational disruption. This position offers the opportunity to influence fleet performance, improve system reliability, and contribute to innovative solutions for sustainable expedition operations. Regular travel to vessels, shipyards, and remote locations will be required, providing exposure to diverse maritime operations.

• Manage all phases of technical projects, including scope definition, planning, budgeting, execution, and post-project review.
• Collaborate with shipboard engineers, captains, and shoreside technical teams to align project outcomes with operational needs.
• Coordinate with shipyards, subcontractors, and technical vendors to ensure projects meet safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
• Communicate project updates clearly and consistently to stakeholders, fostering understanding and alignment across departments.
• Apply maritime engineering knowledge to support vessel upgrades, system improvements, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and enhanced guest experience through technical solutions.
• Maintain accurate project records, budgets, schedules, and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance.

• Degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent hands-on maritime experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical or engineering projects in maritime, expedition, cruise, offshore, or commercial vessel operations.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and class requirements (USCG, ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s, flag state).
• Experience collaborating with shipboard teams and working in dynamic, operational field environments.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and documentation standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and operational requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel to vessels, offices, shipyards, and remote locations as needed.
