This role is an opportunity to ensure the highest quality standards for mobile applications in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will be responsible for testing new features, identifying bugs, and validating releases on iOS and Android platforms. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Design, you will contribute to building a seamless, reliable user experience. The role emphasizes both manual testing expertise and collaboration with automation engineers to optimize test coverage. Your work will directly impact the performance, usability, and reliability of mobile solutions used by end-users daily. This position is ideal for detail-oriented testers who thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and enjoy solving complex testing challenges.


Accountabilities:
  • Plan, write, and execute manual test cases for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Validate new features and ensure readiness for production releases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, regressions, and edge cases.
  • Collaborate with mobile development teams and automation engineers to prioritize testing efforts.
  • Maintain and update test cases, scripts, and documentation in test management tools.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, best practices, and testing standards.
  • Support release sign-off by providing clear testing outcomes and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA tester, QA engineer, or QA analyst.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile testing on iOS and Android devices and emulators (XCode, Android Studio).
  • Knowledge of QA best practices including exploratory testing, test coverage, and edge case identification.
  • Experience executing test cycles, reporting results, and tracking defects.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
  • Experience with mobile performance profiling, Charles Proxy, or test automation collaboration is a plus.
