JOB TITLE: Managing Consultant

                                                                                   

JOB LOCATION: 333 Bush St, Suite 2500, San Francisco, CA 94104(and various unanticipated locations across the US) 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

*Full-time telecommuting permitted*

 

         ·            Designing and advising clients on complex IT controls such as user access, user access review, and change management controls.

         ·            Driving testing application controls involving complex business and IT processes such as interfaces, script reviews, data migration, and system generated calculations.

         ·            Evaluating segregation of duties conflicts and risks over complex business processes associated with a new system implementation and providing recommendations as applicable.

         ·            Reviewing the work of others, including IT general control, IT application test of design and test of effectiveness and SOC report mapping. Participate and oversee Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits for the clients in highly regulated industries.

         ·            Utilizing Alteryx and Power BI to build workflows and dashboards to streamline and deliver work in a more efficient way.

         ·            Utilizing UiPath process mining, identifying challenges, and providing recommendations to identify and resolve process and workflow issues.

         ·            Serve as liaison between the client and project team, overseeing the operational aspects of the project. This includes ensuring timely delivery of agreed deliverables internally and to various CrossCountry clients.

         ·            Assisting clients to assess the effectiveness of their IT risk management and control processes and develop and strengthen risk and compliance programs.


Job Requirements
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of risk advisory work experience involving accounting, risk, and compliance.  *Employer will accept 3 or 4 year bachelor’s degree

Job requires 5 years of experience in the following:

  • Supporting and conducting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits and knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), FIDICA, ESG, COSO, and PCAOB framework and compliance.

Job also requires 4 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Developing comprehensive technology risk management programs tailored to meet diverse client requirements, encompassing at least two of the following areas: IT governance, compliance, cybersecurity, cloud computing, privacy, third-party risk management, data protection, or business resiliency.
  • Orchestrating detailed walkthroughs to document client processes, employing at least one of the following techniques: narrative descriptions, flowcharts, or risk control matrices.
  • Overseeing teams and communicating professionally with clients.
 
Job also requires 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Experience with or knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and IAS (International Auditing and Assurance Standards).
  • Experience with a large accounting firm (e.g., ‘Big 4’ firm) performing and managing financial statement audits of publicly traded Software, Manufacturing, Trading and Distribution and Financial Services companies.
  • Effectively utilizing Future Ready technologies including Alteryx, UiPath Process Mining and Power BI.
  • Leading financial audit teams to ensure they meet the filing deadlines, including coaching and training team members on technical accounting topics and managing the project with stakeholders including the client, internal leaders, and external service providers.

Job also requires 1 year of experience in:

  • Performing Risk and internal control assessments for clients within highly regulated environments. 


$116,000 - $238,400 a year
