The Opportunity:

This position leads and develops a team of highly skilled subject matter experts across the company’s suite of solutions for new business. This role coordinates, collaborates and strategizes with internal management departments such as Sales, Client Growth, IT, Product, Marketing and PDPO to drive success in the market.

Day in the Life:

• Define clear roles and responsibilities for Solution Consultants, set clear expectations of procedures and processes to follow.
• Maintain an open line of communication with Solution Consultants to drive innovation, knowledge growth, industry depth and fine tune presentation skills.
• Play an ongoing and active mentor role to all Solution Consultants.
• Support and drive the organizations strategies and actively work with team to ensure accuracy.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of financial services market dynamics and trends, positive relationships with managers, and significant experience leading financial services sales personnel to identify business opportunities.
• Coordinate the analytical, marketing, financial, and training resources needed to assist in negotiating and closing deals.
• Maintain strong working relationships with key partner groups within organization, including Marketing, Product, Sales and Client Growth. Align the strategic direction of the Solutions Consulting team with these stakeholders and organizational objectives.
• Set performance goals that align to business unit goals and corporate metrics.
• Deliver consultative support to identify and solve multi-faceted business issues across FI operations as it relates to Velera’s product and solutions.
• Build a culture of team share, team growth and ongoing change where creative problem solving and new insights are valued.
• Empower Solutions Consultants to independently maintain relationships and continuously expand product and industry knowledge.
• Actively support Growth Organization to ensure sales & attrition goal attainment.
• Speak at, participate in panel discussions and attend industry trade shows, seminars, user groups and conferences as appropriate and feasible.
• Drive accountability within the team.
• Demonstrate ability to demo and present the value of company’s solution suite.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Seven (7)+ years experience in banking or credit union card processing with product line of business expertise required.

• Three (3)+ years management experience required.
