Role: Manager, Revenue Cycle Services

Location: Remote. Must work in a location within the United States.

Travel: up to 10%

Classification: Salaried, Exempt

Reports to: Revenue Cycle Leadership

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience





About the role

The Manager of Revenue Cycle Services is responsible for overseeing the heart and hustle of their Revenue Cycle Services teams.  An effective manager will foster a work environment that encourages team members to flourish and perform at their highest ability.  They will have an impressive background in revenue cycle, and will work collaboratively with others to create efficient processes that lead to optimal performance and drive cash for Revology clients.  They will be problem-solvers, suggestion-makers, and great listeners.  They will also have the unique opportunity to provide feedback on the build of Revology products and solutions to enhance the end user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supports their revenue cycle services team(s) and provides guidance on proper steps to resolution for complex and challenging escalations from team members and/or Revology clients.
  • Assists with establishing, monitoring, and driving the achievement of performance metrics for their teams; reviews established performance metrics with Revology leadership and clients at the regular and expected cadence.
  • Develops workflows, processes, and guides to support the work of their teams in collaboration with internal and external resources. 
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities to drive cash and achieve goals for Revology clients.
  • Provides Revology leadership and clients with support and guidance when the situation presents.
  • Maintains working knowledge of payer rules and regulations, especially those applicable to assigned client(s).
  • Provides input and feedback on revology products and solutions through early adoption of use to enhance the end user experience.
  • Stay curious, kind and contribute positively to the Revology culture. The health + harmony of the team is everybody’s responsibility at Revology.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of healthcare billing and insurance experience required; knowledge of and/or experience with EOBs, CPT & ICD-10 codes, health insurance claims, authorizations/referrals highly preferred.
  • Must have an ability to motivate and lead a team to perform at a high level; previous people leadership experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An aptitude for problem-solving, patience and flexibility while working in the complex industry of healthcare revenue cycle. 
  • Ability to comfortably navigate and lead a team in a technology-focused environment.High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Internet capability must be a high-speed internet connection.


Physical requirements

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted.  Frequently required to sit for extended periods during the workday.  Manual dexterity and visual acuity required.  Must be able to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.


Working conditions

Work will generally be performed indoors in an office environment.  Must maintain a professional appearance and manner.
