Well, we are looking for a Manager, Reporting Analytics who will lead a high-impact team that is responsible for defining and delivering company-wide metrics, reporting infrastructure, and performance insights. Within this team, the Reporting Analytics function plays a foundational role in building and maintaining the company’s source of truth for business metrics.</p><h2><strong>A day in the life of a Manager, Reporting Analytics at Calendly</strong></h2><p>As the steward of our business metrics and reporting backbone, you’ll enable transparency, speed, and accountability at all levels of the company. You’ll work with a deeply capable team, partner directly with senior leaders, and shape how Calendly defines success. With strong executive sponsorship and a clear path for growth, this is a rare opportunity to do high-impact work that scales.</p><p>On a typical day, <strong>you</strong> will be working on: </p><ul><li>Own and evolve the gold standard of metric definitions at Calendly, ensuring alignment, consistency, and trust in our most critical KPIs.</li><li>Manage the reporting layer within our data warehouse, building the foundation for scalable analytics, executive visibility, and unified decision-making.</li><li>Design and deliver the official reporting suite—including our Corporate Scorecard, Weekly Business Digest, and performance dashboards used across the company, from the Executive Team to functional stakeholders.</li><li>Support high-stakes reporting moments such as Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Board materials, and executive offsites.</li><li>Lead the development of a semantic layer and reporting framework that enables company-wide self-serve analytics while preserving consistency and clarity.</li><li>Champion thoughtful, stratified design in reporting experiences—tailoring dashboards, visuals, and storytelling for specific audiences (e.g., SLT vs. departmental leaders).</li><li>Ensure strong UX and technical structure in reporting products—balancing visual clarity with backend maintainability and intuitive navigation.</li><li>Partner cross-functionally with Analytics, Engineering, Product, GTM, Finance, and Operations to align on shared definitions and build tools that reflect the state of the business.</li><li>Mentor and support a team of experienced analysts, providing guidance on stakeholder engagement, prioritization, and skill development.</li></ul><h2><strong>What do we need from you?</strong></h2><ul><li>Have 2+ years of people management experience, ideally leading analytics, data, or reporting teams.</li><li>Have strong SQL skills and experience working within a modern data stack (e.g., dbt, Hex, BigQuery); bonus if familiar with Python.</li><li>Have a track record of owning metric definition frameworks and the reporting infrastructure needed to uphold them.</li><li>Are deeply invested in information design—you think about the <em>UX of data</em>, tailor reporting for different leadership levels, and get energy from presenting information in a way that drives clarity and action.</li><li>Can speak to semantic layer design and self-serve enablement—you know what it takes to empower others with data without compromising consistency.</li><li>Are a thoughtful communicator and insight storyteller, comfortable working with and presenting to senior leaders and executives.</li><li>Have experience supporting Board-level and strategic reporting, with a high bar for precision, accuracy, and relevance.</li><li>Operate well in ambiguous environments, translating strategic goals into operational reporting systems.</li><li>Are energized by growing people and building team culture.</li><li>Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time</li></ul><h2><strong>What’s in it for you? </strong></h2><p>Ready to make a serious impact? All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and <a href="https://careers.calendly.com/benefits-perks">competitive benefits</a>.</p><p> </p><p>Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
