The People Integrations Manager will play a key role in ensuring successful employee transitions during organizational growth and acquisitions.
This position leads end-to-end people integration initiatives, aligning HR operations, systems, policies, and cultures across newly joined organizations.
The role combines strategic planning, project management, change leadership, and hands-on execution to create seamless employee experiences.
Working closely with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations teams, this professional will help minimize disruption while maximizing engagement and retention.

Accountabilities:The Manager, People Integrations will own the planning and execution of people-focused integration initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for employees, systems, and organizational practices during acquisition activities. This role will serve as a strategic partner across functions while driving operational excellence throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Lead People Operations due diligence efforts, identifying risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies related to employee transitions, benefits, policies, and compliance.
- Develop and manage comprehensive integration plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and post-close activities.
- Oversee the alignment of HR policies, compensation practices, benefits programs, HR technology, and employee processes across organizations.
- Manage employee data migration and ensure accurate transfer of workforce information between systems.
- Drive change management initiatives focused on communication, employee engagement, cultural alignment, and adoption of new processes.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees during transitions, addressing questions and supporting a positive integration experience.
- Lead cultural integration efforts, including employee feedback initiatives, workshops, training sessions, and engagement activities.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations teams to coordinate cross-functional integration workstreams.
- Manage HR systems integration, including Workday implementation, data migration, troubleshooting, and system adoption.
- Track integration performance through key metrics such as retention, employee sentiment, satisfaction, and cultural alignment.
- Provide regular reporting to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings strong HR operations expertise, experience managing complex organizational changes, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in dynamic environments. They should combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills and a deep understanding of employee integration processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (such as SHRM or SPHR) preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years managing M&A integrations, organizational transformations, or large-scale HR projects.
- Experience within professional services, accounting firms, or similarly complex organizations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, benefits harmonization, HCM systems, and workforce transitions.
- Proven experience leading change management initiatives that improve employee engagement and reduce disruption.
- Understanding of labor laws, HR risk management, and compliance considerations during organizational change.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with Workday, payroll systems, HR data migration, analytics, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Microsoft Planner or Wrike.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively from frontline employees to executive leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to integrate diverse workplace cultures and build alignment across teams.
