In this role, you will support the operational integrity and continuous improvement of a global airport and transportation network, helping ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence across multiple international sites. You will act as a key operational advisor, working with airport teams to strengthen environmental performance, safety management systems, and quality assurance frameworks. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on project execution, including involvement in airport integration, advisory services, and asset management initiatives. You will operate in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment shaped by diverse aviation regulations and stakeholder expectations. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will contribute to sustainability reporting, risk monitoring, and industry best practice development. This is a highly collaborative position where your work directly supports the efficiency, safety, and long-term performance of critical transportation infrastructure.


Accountabilities

In this role, you will ensure operational excellence across a global airport network while driving compliance, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing operational guidance and expertise to airport sites to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations aligned with international and national aviation regulations
  • Leading environmental and sustainability initiatives, including emissions data collection, validation, and reporting within global impact frameworks
  • Supporting the development and annual production of sustainability and impact reports in collaboration with network stakeholders
  • Coordinating and sharing operational best practices across the network, including participation in environmental and operational working groups
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and industry trends, producing briefings and recommendations for leadership teams
  • Supporting safety, emergency planning, SMS, and security management system programs across multiple airport sites
  • Conducting and supporting operational audits, performance reviews, and compliance assessments
  • Managing and contributing to airport integration, transition, and advisory project delivery activities
  • Supporting business planning, budgeting, and operational performance improvement initiatives across the network
  • Building documentation, operational manuals, and best practice guidelines to strengthen consistency across locations

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong aviation operations expertise with analytical ability, regulatory knowledge, and project management skills. You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, aviation, airport management, or a related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental management or aviation/airport operations environments
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, airport standards, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., ICAO, FAA, GRI, ACI)
  • Experience working with environmental management systems and operational compliance programs
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and performance issues
  • Experience preparing technical reports, business documents, RFPs, and presentations for diverse stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in complex, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented and proactive mindset
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build trust in a matrixed, cross-functional organization
  • High attention to detail combined with strategic thinking and operational awareness
